About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you won’t just be behind a desk; you will be the first smile our residents see and the helpful voice their families hear.
Reporting to the Facility Services Manager, you will support Strathdale Centre’s smooth daily operations, work closely with care staff to create a vibrant and welcoming environment for our residents.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as first point of contact to warmly welcoming visitors, managing calls, and resolving enquiries with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Provide administration support to the facility in managing resident files, respond to general queries and capture accurate meeting minutes.
- Facilitate a seamless and a smooth admission process for new residents
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and support services for current residents.
- Maintain and update resident’s files with strict confidentiality and maintain accurate employee training records.
- Support roster planning to ensure our residents receive the care minutes they need, including managing daily roster gaps and timesheet exceptions for payroll.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years experience as an administration assistant in Aged Care or similar industry is highly desirable.
- A Certificate IV in Business (Administration) or relevant qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience with rostering is a highly desirable advantage, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and fast-paced admin tasks with high attention to detail.
- A positive, can-do mindset with a genuine heart for supporting older Australians with dignity and respect.
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
