Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Columbia Aged Care in Oberon, NSW. As a valuable member of our Care Services department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. **Key Responsibilities:**
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for residents
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitoring and recording resident's conditions and maintaining accurate medical records
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
Providing support and guidance to care staff
Participating in family meetings and contributing to care planning
Adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain standards of care
Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Remaining updated with current practices and participating in continuous professional development

Desired Skills and Experience
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing

Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality standards in aged care
