About the Role:
You will work night duty shifts from 22:30 to 07:00 am. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents by:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents during night shifts.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitoring and recording resident's conditions and maintaining accurate medical records
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Providing support and guidance to care staff
- Participating in family meetings and contributing to care planning
- Adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain standards of care
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Remaining updated with current practices and participating in continuous professional development.
About you:
- Hold a valid AHPRA Registration with no notation or conditions.
- Hold a current or ability to obtain National Police Check completed within the last 3 months.
- Has Australian work rights
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Strengthen Aged Care Quality Standards and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in aged care nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
