About the Role

To provide outstanding resident care with clinical outcomes in line with national best practice standards, thus promoting a culture of quality, safety and excellence in care delivery.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to registered nurses.
  • Assist with meal times, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Participate in resident care planning meetings and follow individualized care plans.
  • Document care provided in residents' charts accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in activities and social programs, fostering a sense of community

Desired Skills and Experience

  • We are looking for someone who possesses:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Reliability and a commitment to high standards of care.
  • A current AIN qualification (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or working towards).
  • Full Working Rights in Australia
  • Current Police Check
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
