About the Role
To provide outstanding resident care thus promoting a culture of quality, safety and excellence in care delivery.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to registered nurses.
- Assist with meal times, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Participate in resident care planning meetings and follow individualized care plans.
- Document care provided in residents' charts accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in activities and social programs, fostering a sense of community
About you:
- A genuine desire to work with seniors and improve their quality of life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Reliability and a commitment to high standards of care.
- A current AIN qualification (Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or working towards).
- Full Working Rights in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
