Willowood Centre, a respected aged care facility in Chatswood, is seeking dedicated and reliable Part Time Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our valued residents.
Availability: Week 1 - Wednesday and Thursday, Week 2 - Wednesday and Friday
About the role:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, activity rooms, and hallways.
- Clean resident rooms thoroughly, ensuring resident privacy and respecting belongings.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas.
- Refill dispensers with soap, paper towels, and other supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Participate in team cleaning tasks and follow company cleaning protocols.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents and staff.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have at least 12 months experience cleaning in a commercial or healthcare setting (preferred).
- Are a highly motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality cleaning.
- Are compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in the well-being of seniors.
- Are a good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Are able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
